I had an amazing time discovering the city, as we were just a short ten-minute walk from the White House and the National Mall, with other incredible landmarks like the Washington Monument and various Smithsonian museums being within almost 2 kilometers, making it so easy to soak in the sights on foot; the staff was friendly and the included breakfast was a nice bonus for our budget, but the air conditioning in our room could use some improvement since it was a bit noisy.

The room stood out for its cleanliness. it felt cramped, with just one small window tucked away behind a closet. The bed could use a comfort upgrade; it was firmer than expected. Temperature control was decent, but I experienced occasional loud noises from the vent at night. While the bathroom was tidy, the faucet felt a bit loose. I appreciated the friendly staff and the good breakfast offerings, but there were times when seating was hard to find due to crowds. improvements on room size and furnishings would enhance the comfort significantly.

Disappointment set in quickly. The breakfast buffet had a sparse selection, and seating was nearly impossible. A cockroach sighting was the final straw. The room was cramped, and noise pollution from both the street and neighboring rooms made it hard to relax. the location was superb, and the staff consistently brightened my day with their kindness. I felt like I was double-charged at check-in, and the silence on that front added to my frustration. Despite a nice evening menu, it lacked variety. A solid hotel, but it's clear improvement is urgently needed.

Cleanliness was commendable. The welcoming staff stood out. Room size exceeded expectations—especially after cramped accommodations elsewhere. A large shower with excellent water pressure is always a plus. Proximity to key sites and eateries makes it convenient. issues arose. Breakfast options were inadequate, with limited choices and questionable quality. One elevator was out of service, causing frustrating delays. Communication about discounts was inconsistent. I encountered noise disturbances from adjacent nightlife. While the stay had its merits, a focus on maintenance and clearer guest services is needed. It’s a decent choice, but improvements are essential for a more seamless experience.

The room got way too hot for comfort.

The front desk staff was really rude, and our shower ran out of gel and shampoo. We had to call multiple times just to get basic necessities. It felt like we were disturbing them for asking for help. So frustrating!

Great rooftop bar for evening drinks, the view is fantastic. Large rooms with comfy beds and excellent bathroom amenities.
It wasn't cheap, but considering the location, it's still reasonable.

I was in the heart of the city, close to great dining spots and had fantastic rooftop city views with craft cocktails. The fitness center was spacious, and the grab ‘n go items were handy.
Spent the night performing a symphony of doors slamming open and shut next to the stairs.

Great location near popular sights and metro stations. Tasty breakfast with plenty of options. Clean rooms and a cool rooftop bar with a view were enjoyable.
Room wasn't ready on time. Limited natural light due to small window placement.

Let's start with the positives - the location was fantastic, right near all the main attractions in Washington DC. The room was spacious and we had street parking right outside, which was convenient. We also appreciated the little touches like fresh apples in the reception area and cold water after a hot day. On the downside, there were a few things that could be improved. the breakfast could cater better to vegetarians and the dining area felt chaotic and crowded. It would have been nice to have clearer information on where the food and coffee stations were located. the experience with the taxi arranged by a hotel employee left a lot to be desired in terms of transparency and honesty. Despite the shortcomings, the room itself was comfortable with a nice seating area and bathroom. The gym being open 24/7 was a plus, and the lobby seating area had a cozy vibe. the restrictions on using the rooftop terrace with teenagers felt unwelcoming and could have been handled better. In summary, Hyatt Place has its charms, but there are definitely areas where they could step up their game.

I chose Hyatt Place for its close proximity to the National World War II Memorial, and was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary 24/7 Gallery offering made-to-order items and the convenience of grabbing a coffee or cocktail at the hotel bar.
Limited breakfast, pricey valet parking.

Close to major attractions and amenities, within walking distance to landmarks and dining options. Valet parking with in/out privileges and courteous staff made the stay convenient and enjoyable.
Room size and lighting could be improved. Inconsistent service at the front desk, with issues regarding car parking and room comfort.
